Dragon LNG re-appoints Peacock Engineering to implement Maximo upgrade
Dragon needed to upgrade to the latest version of Maximo 7.6 from Maximo 7.5. There was also a requirement for technicians to operate more effectively in the field and provides reports that integrated from Maximo via a mobile CMMS solution. With a number of support contracts coming to an end, it was also an ideal time to reassess both systems and support process with a view to simplyfing support to a single organisation
Peacock Engineering was re-appointed to progress the upgrade from Maximo 7.5 to Maximo 7.6. This also included the implementation of Peacock Engineerin’gs own mobile solution, Fingertip solution which extends Maximo out into the field.
The benefits of upgrading would be to lower operating costs and ensure Maximo would continue to be supported by IBM. Furthermore, ATEX inspections are completed by the Dragon’s technicians in the field and the administrative tasks that once followed have been eradicated as the data is input directly into Maximo in real time
