Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management company, has chosen Peacock Engineering to implement ClickSoftware’s scheduling solution, Field Service Edge, on a Software as a Service (SaaS) basis. Working as part of an IBM team, Peacock Engineering is also providing the services to integrate Click’s Field Service Edge with Mitie’s existing IBM Maximo Asset Management solution.
Improving Mitie’s work management processes, through the use of Click, will allow Mitie to improve its engineering maintenance services scheduling. It sees a move away from a semi manual scheduling and reactive task management, to a predictive, highly automated approach that evaluates optimal workforce assignment in real time. This will not only increase productivity but also deliver improved customer satisfaction.
