One of the main reasons cited for the failure of Enterprise Asset Management systems to deliver the expected return of investment is that Users have been inadequately trained in the use of the system and/or the business processes and procedures on which the system functionality is based.

Peacock Engineering have developed a Maximo training programme that, like our implementation strategy, follows a process-led philosophy addressing not only the requirement to train users in the use of Maximo, but also to train staff on the business processes and procedures that the system has been designed to support. As such, although we do have and are able to offer standard Maximo functional training courses, our experience is that training delivered as part of an implementation should be designed specifically to match client processes and business drivers.
